Partial Summary Judgment Granted in Favor of Seattle Monorail Services,
Inc.
GMT partners Jim Murray and Christie Snyder represent Seattle Monorail
Services, Inc. in an insurance coverage lawsuit against Affiliated
FM. The case involves several insurance coverage issues, including
the extent of business interruption coverage, relating to the 2004
fire damage to the Monorail's "Blue" train.
United States District Judge Pechman recently granted partial summary
judgment to SMS ruling that the Monorail trains are "buildings
or structures" within the meaning of the all-risk property policy
at issue.
