Defense Verdict for GMT Client in Major Professional Liability/D&O
Liability Case
January 13, 2005. After an eight week trial, a King County jury deliberated
roughly four hours before rendering a defense verdict on all counts
against a major national law firm and one of its partners, a former
CEO and Director of an internet bank. The plaintiff sought damages
of $280 million; claims totaling $99.8 million went to the jury. Jeff
Tilden represented the CEO/Director involved. His claim for indemnity
is going forward.
