Chuck Gordon has over 30 years of experience in the management
and trial of a wide variety of civil litigation. Chuck is a Fellow
of the American College of Trial Lawyers and a Member of the American
Board of Trial Advocates. He has been included for many years in Woodward
White’s The Best Lawyers in America (Business Litigation Law).
He also serves on the faculty of the National Institute for Trial
Advocacy ("NITA") for the Northwest Region.
Chuck graduated from the University of Washington School of Law in
1969, where he served on the Editorial Board of the Washington Law
Review.
After service as trial counsel in the U.S. Army, Chuck joined Perkins
Coie in 1971, and ultimately served on the firm's Executive Committee.
Chuck has acted as lead trial counsel for numerous clients, including
heading up Puget Sound Energy's tort defense effort. He formed Gordon
Murray Tilden with Jeff Tilden and Jim Murray in the summer of 1996.
In 2000, the National Law Journal listed Chuck as one of the top-ten
trial lawyers in the state of Washington.
